So some people say golden bodkin of spirits. Some say golden shield of spirits. And many say golden focus of rejuv..... Anyone have suggestions and tips on which one i should get? Please also have convincing facts! Thanks so much!

I am currently using the crown shield (+15 hp +10 e)
It is only 120 so it is cheaper the 10/10 shield which only gives an extra 5'regen for 60k more so it is more economical, and Mage armor stinks so I wanted something to help all the hth we get in. Also with sacrifice moving hp to e I think a little extra hp regen is helpful.

I'm using both the golden focus of rejuv and the mighty crown of shield (120k)

Shield of spirits is generally the best for the extra armor.
I also use golden focus when fighting magic mobs as it gives spell resistance.
Gomden bodkin is kind of useless as it adds weapon damage of which mage wands do very little to begin with.

So if i mainly use cloak, bolt, shards, and the lures, like the offense skills, then i would most likely need mighty shield of spirits? Cuz i dont like using energy shield a lot. But if i do use shield, then i prob might wanna get the focus or rejuv? And btw is getting heroic ammi of rejuv more important then gettin offhand first?

Id say... if you use e-shield and it holds through a fight, the bodkin would be your best choice. At least as long as you dont answer otherworld. There, the shield is probably better.

Lux gear is endgame IMO, I am only going to buy it once and not upgrade it. So yes that means otherworld.

I have semi retired my golden focus and have started using mighty shield as the extra armour is a real nessesity in ow now

I say the Golden focus of Rejuvenation.

If you want a shield the only good option is shield of crowns. All the other shields have 20 weight which decreases your energy by 174. NOT GOOD; since even with the 10 energy per tick it gives you, in a 5 tick battle you would still be out 124 mana compared to never having an offhand at all! Remember each unit of weight decreases your energy by 8.7 so bodkin effectivley reduces your energy by 110 as compared to golden focus as well.


need health and physical resist -> mighty shield of crowns

need energy-> golden focus of energization

need both health and energy -> golden focus of rejuvenation

However Xell; how much damage do you do with bodkin per second on average? So we can include that fact into the discussion.
