Firedamage heals the Lavalord. Just wondering if anyone has any good strategys for mages to fight the Lavalord? If we can only use ice shards, we are definitely a support class against this guy. Thoughts?

Do NOT use fire against him. It heals his wounds, lol. I usually use my ice and my support lures (slash, pierce, crust) on him.

Does Chained King heal with Fire too? It doesn't say it does when you hit it with fire but it does seem a lot harder when mages are blasting fire bolts at it. Does anyone know for sure?

Just because we lose fire-bolt doesn't mean we lose dmg.
I got the kill from just using ice shards and ice lure against a 140 rogue while i was 125, and can basically out DPS anyone on Lavalord in my world

Obviously shards and ice lure help but I try to make up my loss of fire contribution by making sure I use all my other lures for other classes. If Chained King does heal by fire we should definitely be told about that. It is impossible to see dmg numbers most of the time so we wouldn't have much other way of knowing.

Pyrus is a fire boss... meaning that his ice resists are terrible. ur ice should being doing amazing dmg against him. Also... i love getting a mage group together and frusterating a rival clan when our firebolts heal their dmg XD
