This has big implications for the melee mage.

I used to say dont put any points in dex so the cloak hits every time and you dont dodge and your cloak not work.

Well even if you do dodge, your cloak still hits! So now I have like 160 in dex to help my attack and defense

Since you've now put points into dex, what are your stats? Did you take them from focus or vitality? Oh, and this revelation changes the build theory considerably.

This game mechanic has been constant.

Same with all fire cloaks, or meteoric boss DMG shields. If you swing/shoot/wand you take DMG.

Yea when my Fire Bolt misses 1/3 the time, old trusty Cloak always comes through for me. Love the warm fuzzy Cloak of Death!!

Just imagine if it was like update 2 when cloak also did damage when you hit. That was nerfed for pvp, wish it would come back.

Sure its old but never heard anyone say it on the forums.

I kinda want to bring dex down to 100 and put the other 40 in vitality mabye but I will keep like this for a while.
