Golden Helm of Intensity
Heroic Boots of Speed
Heroic Gloves of Haste
Golden Blade of Fire

And various jewelry that adds heat damage.

I don't use a weapon in my main hand and I've learned hand to hand so I punch. My order of attack is below.

Energy shield
Cloak of fire
(these I cast before mob sees me)
Lure of fire
Firebolt
(all the while I auto attack mob with fists)
Firebolt
Firebolt
Firebolt

Until I run out of energy or kill mob.

If you can get your hands on Radiant go for that.

Because the quest line of warden -> meteor -> frozen equipment is inferior to Radiant (for a mage).

I have not a clue. I've based my build totally on the summer event armor that adds heat damage. I would also like to know.

I've been told, that all things being equal, the golden blade of venom is the better offhand. That doesn't take into account anything else you may have equipped.
