Fighting Askold... Am i the only mage that REALLY WANTS Arctic Winds as a new mage skill??
I hope the admins give us mages the option of a true ice mage build

I agree, an ice version of incinerate would rock, and a castable version of ice cloak would be a nice addition as well (shroud of spirits is alright, but the cool down SUX BAD). It would also be nice if the lures were AOE like warding spells since you're not always fighting one mob at a time (especially in boss battles).

Look you really don't need too many extra lure points to go fire+ice...
Tell me what your fightin and ill tell you how many lures you need.
But for you deth you are probably bossing which in that case you need to max every lure so ya specializing can be important there.

An ice cloak skill would be epic! Especially as it would it would help against a lot of bosses, who have low or no resistance to ice.

i have a love/hate relationship with mages right now
love them because they are badass and my mage is way more fun to play than my rogue and way cheaper
hate them because they are whiney and never pleased with what they are given.
so yes, i would love this skill for my mage, but i want my rogue to be fixed first

Yes but rogues don't get any help, otm has recently said that rogue ranger and warr skills will be fixed in update and we stopped whining. Only thing going on for rogues right now is the quick strike debate, which contains no rage posts whatsoever or whining for that matter
