Was wondering what is thought of using the aggy tridants ( no class req)
With earthstone gloves chest and rings and decent dex I have enough attack to hit consistently, offhand blade provides strength, and max pierce lure, offhand lure, cloak and fire lure

You would need high attack from rings and radiant otherwise ur missing a lot as mages dont have spear ability.

Yeah I can manage over 1k attack with gear

the 75 pts u get can be very good (if u get void ofc), 75 pts to dex can add very nice attack, if u got good gear then it'll be good too, with high vit and dex (and probably some str) it might be awesome, ofc some focus and regen for stuff like lure of assassins, matching the lure to ur offhand, and 2 more useful skills (like cloak, boost, group lure or something)
tho it'll be only for high lvl mages (110 with dark trident, 130 with shadow and 150 with void)

Yeah my Mage is 117, it was really a question as to whether I should invest in a second tridant as my rogue main has a shadow one which Mage is too low of a level for

thats a really interesting idea. ask to borrow someones first, and test it, i would be interested as to the dps.

yeah, i will have to calculate the dps between hth and tridant, the fact that hth ability i can train may make it better, but the attack from earthstone and dex may balance it

I think you will find when trying to hit at higher levels 1200 attack just won't cut it , but just a guess .

Yeah I'm thinking that, but half wondering if I had 200-300 points in dex and my focus was only for luring and cloak how it would go

try marc's elite build, low foc, but half of the vit pts to dex
maybe some to str too
