What class you guys think is best to level with as a mage?
Ima full fire mage and prefer leveling with my ranger friend ( he keeps us alive)
We do 2-3bars per elixer ( grimwall golems).
Anyone prefers other classes to level with? And why?

Ranger/Mage is best duo combo in game IMO , but Mage needs to have skill points in assassins lure to truly get the most out of it , being pure fire Mage for this combo isn't the best way . even better than duo is ranger/Druid/Mage , use ass/fire lure and spikes/cloak is sick combined damage , let ranger tank mob toe to toe .

Agree completely with Elim. Ranger/caster mage best duo, esp with assassins lure.

Distant seconds are rogue/mage and warrior/mage. Rogue/mage may work with a melee mage in particular so that the rogue doesn't have to tank exclusively. But there's no healing, of course.

Figured that a druid/mage/rogue works very well!
Let the rogue tank and put lures up and boost the druid's energy:)

For sure rogue/Druid/Mage is awesome , kills faster than with the ranger.

Rogue/druid is excellent and fast xp , rogue/ranger can be insane if the ranger and rogue play smart .

i found using my ranger with my mage was awesome. both are ranged attacks. so start with bolas and the mob is mostly dead by the time it gets to you (then you finish it off while it whacks your eshield).

Yea that works well , I like the other approach of using spikes/cloak it's almost like having another dps in group.

absolutely, use your buffs. but they may not be needed cause eshield. Then you save the casting time as you move from mob to mob. things can go very fast.

Admittedly, i was cheating using my 150+ ranger to level up my 100+ mage quickly, but the concept would be the same regardless of ranger level.
