Fixing the energy problem for mages

#1
Ok, so I don't know if this will be OP, but I'll give it a try. There should be a new skill to help with energy problems.

Basically, it's like this:

This skill lets you use X amount of energy, which doesn't come from your originally energy.

The number would increase as it went up. So it's basically giving extra energy that doesn't deplete. Too much like energy well? Idk. Leave your feedback below.

Oh, and let me know if you didn't understand it, I kinda confused myself

Let me clarify.

Think of it as an energy shield, but it's not shielding your health, its shielding your energy. And it doesn't cost health like sacrifice. I came up with this idea, because as a mage, I had trouble keeping up my energy. I have to keep energy boost on all the time(it does 33 per tick), and I have to wait between fights if I use energy shield(which I almost always do, to keep my health from dropping like a rock). This skill could possibly be for druids too, because they have crazy energy problems too(from my experience w/o sigils).

Sorry, the last thing we need is more skills. Also I believe energy is in a great state right now with the changes to boost/sacrifice. If you have sigils you can avoid having to skill into them and if you don't you have options to not have to worry about energy.

I have not exeprienced an energy crisis on my mage. I use shield at level 27/25 and never seem to run out. I don't have any sigils and my energy boost is maxed 25/25. If I get low I pop a grand ring on and boost with 29/25. Never have run out yet

I think most people that complain about energy problems are not willing to put the points needed into boost. However in longer fights boost alone is not enough if your using shield.

At a minimum I can burn about 3000 energy a minute leveling. If I try to max my dps then I could easily use more.
I think my boost gives me about 160 per tick about he same as casting a spell. If I solo bosses I often just let my cloak kill them to not waste pots.
I don't usually bother wearing regen gear which could give me another 40 points of regen if I needed it.

In my opinion, mages and druids should get a passive in combat regen equivalent to the energy used by the main attack skill. For example, firebolt uses say 50 energy and has a recharge time of 3 secs. So mages can have a passive regen of 50 every 3 seconds when in combat. The number will increase along with the energy consumption of firebolt. This way, mages and druids will never run out of energy and can continue fighting.

So I could keep using energy shield, and never run out of health or energy? That is much too overpowered

If you add health to that too I'm all for it. It would be great to never run out of energy or health ever. No matter what I did.
