I have been wondering how to reach 3k above on skill ? Ay tips?

All i can think of is to get ice shard rings/bracelets from agg. I believe the highest skill hit on the online leaderboard is 3.3k damage for mage.

Get items that add focus, and max you shards at 50/35 (rings, braclets, etc).
