My mage is currently at 79 i have all lures other than lure of giants
Current build and skills
Fire cloak 22/20
Ice lure 20/20
Assassins lure 20/20
Eboost 10/20
Lure of soldiers 13/20

Those are good skills for a lure mage at your level. But, you may want to wait until you are at a higher level to switch to support unless your mage is an alt or your clan or server needs lure mages desperately. At level 79 you should be able to solo level and at a higher level you will have more skill points, rendering your lures more effective. But, it is up to you.

Ok thanks is there any specific level that you would recomend to solo to?

I never liked solo leveling in ow.
The problem with a lure mage is not everyone understands their value.
It looks like a good balanced build and can be used for bossing also.

You do not have to solo. I did until level 85 or so and then leveled with a friend or two until just recently. This last week I switched to a support build. My clan did not really have an active lure mage before. I would not recommend switching to support unless you have a good clan or friends who appreciate the value of mage lures.

Well keep in mind that support classes can level with groups higher than them. Ymirs groups always looking for lures. And a few levels and diamond gear can find himself in cave groups luring wyverns for people and getting great xp there aswell.

Maybe your leveling with the wrong mages because when i am leveling my lures are up within the first 1/4 of the mob

I have been in a lot of leveling groups and lures almost always help. I usually only do one lure per mob because at some point it is a waste of casting.

At level 80 even a level 1 lure will probably help the group.
