I have been debating about which armor would be the best to have at level 120. I've seen most with diamond, some wi full frozen meteoric and very little with full spiritshadow. Spiritshadow is armor with an evasion purpose. Diamond is the armor with an ability and stat purpose. And finally, the frozen is a dps (extra cold damage) armor. So which would you use?

Depends which class. I see alot of mages and druids on my world with SpiritShadow, and most rangers got frozen. Rogues tend to have diamond and warrior a mix of both diamond/frozen.

Here is what I use, and why....

Head: Crown of Wizardry
Body: Diamond
Legs: Diamond
Gloves: Spirit Shadow
Boots: Spirit Shadow

All of these items are the highest focus for their slot....well Diamond Gloves and Boots are the same, but Spirit Shadow is free.

You had mentioned that Frozen was DPS armor because it has cold damage bonus. This is ot right. The higher focus gives you more damage than the cold damage stat does.

FYI: I do have full Frozen, and full Spirit Shadow...I just never wear them.

Full frozen is for the armor and evasion.
Diamond is for dps.
Spiritshadow is for evasion and shrouds.

That pretty much sums it up.

Ok I will follow those guild lines

Frozen bp/legs/gloves ( i tank often thats why:) )
Focus crown
Heroic boots ( dont have mounts and i like the stat bonus )

Diamond because of focus boosts.
