if u equip a ring does it inevitably take no more health away but give more energy than original level would? hope thats easy answer. i havent tried yet but i got a grand sacrifice ring dunno if i should equip or sell to a newbie for a lil dough

Yes, the ring just increases the skill points and follows the pattern. I tested this with level 1 sacrifice and then a grand ring. At level 1, I lost 15 hp, whereas at level 6 I lost 65 hp.
