i have a question regarding a mage which is at level 64 at the moment.
Except of the 40% Dragon Staff i have no kind of lux items. No Rejuve, Regeneration or Energisation Ammy or Rings etc.

I have "only" the Duskshadow (blue) Armor which you get from the temple, and the green Duskshadow Gloves (from Stonevale Farm NPC).
My Offhand is a Shield with some armor which i got at level 20 or so.
I dont have plat and i dont want to buy any...!

At this time i am saving gold to buy a lux item. What would you recommend?
I always level together with a ranger who is level 63. He keeps healing me, if neccesary with his (op) healing skill. Since i am putting a lot of points into focus, i think i will need some Energisation Items. Therefore i think, that i should buy the Energisation Book from Otherworld Lux Shop. The problem is, that i really like my dragon staff and dont want to unequip it, equip it, unequip it... all the time^^
So i think it might be better to go for the +15 energisation Ammy from Quigley Lux Shop or some Energy Ring from OW Shop. What do you think

Have to look at an item which would be easy to resell because obviously you'll be upgrading in the long run. If you buy a golden amulet of energisation (15 energy per tick from lux shop) that's going to be tough to resell and it'll sit in your bank for a while. Remember that you have energy boost and sacrifice as a mage, so if you have energy issues just invest some points in either skill. If you want to maximise dps by reducing eboost/sacrifice then you could look at the +10 energy bracelet. It's fairly easy to buy/sell, and you're looking at a 75k cost (100k in shop). That should suffice until you hit level 100, where you can think about buying either the 35 energy per tick off hand, or the 25 per tick with the focus.

An ammy is better as a first item (heroic if you can) because it is usable by any class, which improves the resale market. Trying to resell an offhand limits your resale customer base.

Should be pretty easy to buy, since all the new lux has made the old lux pretty big on the sell market. But you're going to have trouble competing with the better lux which came out in update 4, when trying to sell. Having a crown also doesn't allow you to achieve a set bonus, if you do get full warden/meteoric/frozen/dragonlord.

If you want to remain on the staff, you could save up for a talisman of the earth (350k in lux , lvl 100 requirement and provides 30 hp and energy regen), or just buy a heroic rejuv as the user above posted. Gives 20 hp and energy per tick and you can probably buy for around 170 or 180k.

first of all, sell ur dragonstaff

speed boost is the last thing u need, i got my broom after i had like 6 offhands 3 heroic ammies 3 heroic gloves and etc.

always focus on gear, then go with speed boost

i would say save for offhand first, why? cuz it has nice regen and it'll increase your dmg
u can get master grimoire, it'll be sold for much less now by ppl, 200k at shop so u can get even for less than 150k
or wait for lvl 100 and buy the offhand (tho i skipped on lvl 100 lux, but thats cuz i was on a break between updates and "started" as lvl 133)
after offhand, if u want to skip lvl 100 lux u can get heroic ammy of eng (20 energy regen), its good for a while but it'll be hard to sell later
u can get ammy of earth (lvl 100 ammy) for 300k from ppl
u can get ofc the ow energy brace (10 energy regen, +150 energy and nice resists) for cheap
dont buy any flint, its lame, i wouldnt by topaz/opal too since it got changes, try looking for quartz wep (they still exist... just need to find a person who sells) and then diamond wep, diamond wep will be good for long long time
dont ever buy regen or eng rings
dont buy heroic boots or even gloves as a mage untill u got enough gear and money
dont waste elixirs at your lvl, maybe once in a while tho
dont waste on anc armour from shop, weps too, the shadow armour from quests will be very good for a mage, nice skill + evasions i think + focus

so, offhand (i prefer master grimoire like i said), ow energy brace, any good eng ammy or rejuv ammy, quartz+diamond weps when u can (topaz and opal weps has the same stats, but the lvl req is unfathomable)
focus on that for a while, dont make any alts, lvl with druids or some nice dps
as for skills, idk which skills u use, i would lvl with druid instead of using energy shield since it'll drain ur energy, put some pts in energy boost or max it, dont put pts on medidate or recup, if ur soloing put some pts on bandage wounds

as for dmg, firebolt and ice shards will work for u now, lures too ofc, i wouldnt use cloak of fire/inc, didnt like both
