While watching other classes take down dragon lord boss place holders i had a revelation
How about making freeze an area spell that way mages with there paper armour could take down the place holders without having to fight all the body gaurds that go with it
So annoying that everyone else can kill ph solo but mage can only call in extra help to do it for him
Plus it would make freeze 100 times better than what it is currently
Re: Mage survivabilty suggestion
#2I still wonder why u and Marco are still mages but id wouldnt mind aoe freeze but it could make it a pain to use also like if u only want to freeze one mob but it freezes another.

Re: Mage survivabilty suggestion
#3I still play mage because ive played mage for 2 years spent a lot of money on sigals leveled up all this way without lixes so im reluctant to quit
As a mage killing is relitively easy prob kys when i pull an etra mob i dont have the armour to survive multiple mobs and having a way to survive these encounters would make a big dif to me

Re: Mage survivabilty suggestion
#4also if they do this they better not raise the energy cost of it cuz its already a rediculous cost lol
Re: Mage survivabilty suggestion
#5I think mage survivability is a definte problem. They ought be equipped with spells which allows them to escape attacks or something. However, the problem with this as i see it, means that the mage will then have to invest more precious skill points in skills that become a neccessity leaving few points for anything else.
Re: Mage survivabilty suggestion
#6ye agreed ...plus freeze as it is should atleast be unavoidable/ and not broken when hit.....then this would be fair to our huge lack of armour issues
Re: Mage survivabilty suggestion
#7honestly it doesnt last that long anyways to not allow us to hit them a couple times while they are frozen
Re: Mage survivabilty suggestion
#8Ye freeze length is fine 13 secs .....u can get 3 hits off ( which would compensate for high evades )honestly it doesnt last that long anyways to not allow us to hit them a couple times while they are frozen
Re: Mage survivabilty suggestion
#9If anything freeze should also be a lure for dmg.
Last i checked a block of ice is chipped when hit by things.

#10Celtic ice is much stronger. If anything freeze should also be a lure for dmg.

But in all seriousness, making freeze unavoidable and not broken by attacks would work wonderfully.
