Hey guys, since there are probably new and old mages out there, i need help. I want to make a mage but i have no idea how to even start. If someone could help, what skills should i use? What build for my stats should i do? Any other tips are useful.

#2For skills, you should use fire bolt (try to max as soon as possible), fire lure (half of what your fire bolt is), energy boost if you have energy problems, energy shield for extra protection. If you want more damage skills, might want to use cloak of fire.
For stats, you should only put points into focus and vitality. Ratio of focus:vitality should be around 3:2. For gear, don't bother buying any gear until you can do the warden quests (start at 60 I think). Try to get energy regeneration items as soon as you can, since mage has quite large energy costs.
