Has anyone found the optimal mage build against warrior yet? I have found the Full Ice build satisfying for other other classes, with full vit and no freeze. But does freeze really reach its full potential against warriors in PvP or does it cost too much energy? Please post your PvP Builds here

For arena I hop on my staff, lash a firebolt or a incinerate, run back and repeat. Pretty unfair IMO, but to me, PvP is not a big deal just a bit of fun..

Pretty sure you could only use plummel on your staff.

Get the lux shop shield, works wonders with mages. (armor has a plataeu FYI, so the lux shield wouldn't work as well on warriors compared to mages)

What?

Warrior has abt 1500 armor with full dl no shield.
Mage has about 250.
The warrior will not notice any more serious damage reduction with extra 250 armor as the mage does.

you can also cast shatter
and when they stop to cast a spell you quickly swap weps for sword + offhand and then jump back on your staff

Warriors seem to be able to hit things with auto and their skills from a rather excessive distance.
I was fighting a warrior with no speed boosts from an 80% staff, I never got within even 8 meters of him but he could still hit me.

not possible...at some point you mustve got within a 1 foot distance
all it takes is 1 second and he can cast pummel or shatter or giant swing or something

those attacks can FLY man
