Hello Guys.
first sorry for my english im definetly not a native speaker

since all my friends started playing this game i want to join . But im complete noob and my friends all play warriors and ragers wich i dont like .
So they cant rly help me.. My choice would be a mage bcz mages are classical awesome. But idk what to do at the start... I already started the mage but i have no idea what to do . i play with the idea to buy plat and pass all my friends if i have a well working character. so expensive stuff shouldnt be a problem.

Now my questions are :
1). What are the skills i should use.
2). Wich stuf should i save for and buy?.(ill get the 4k plat and get 500k gold.. but this doesnt seem to me like the best way when i see ppl dicing 600k...)
3). Wich stats are good to lvl fast? (solo would be good because i dont think many ppl will be online when i can play )
4). What to do on higher lvls?

I know that are many questions but it would be cool if you answer soon

If you buy plat buy 75 sun chests for 3k plat and sell them for 20k each, you'll get 1.5 mil. With the 1k plat resting buy xp lixes.
Skills:
Id go for a fire mage build
Firebolt, firestorm, fire attunement, lure of fire(keep it the half of the max, bolt storm and attunement maxed.)

Stuff: Id buy heroic boots, a heroic rejuv ammy and ancient silk gloves pants and top. You should be able to get some skill rings either. As you reach 50 you should buy a masters grimmore and a golden crown of wizardry

Do the startet quest it'll get you to 20, then lix from20-25 in catacombs, 25-50 at shalemont ravine

Generally agree, particularly with heroic ammy, but disagree with armor.

For armor get help with the shadow armor quests, dusk shadow and dark shadow. It adds focus and a decent skill and is free. That will keep things going until you get your warden and met armor or are high enough to buy a nice alternative.

Also, what world are you on? I'm sure there are some folks who would be happy to help when they see you around.

As hell buy plat he'll be leveling quick and btw you can get flint earlier than warden(warden is 60-80 now) and it has better stats IMO

first my mage is on Rosmerta under the same name then on forums

then i saw this duskshadow armour and this red thing and i think if i get one of those ill get the red thing.. i saw i run out of energx so *** fast that ill buy all possibkle regen items. lol. then i saw some mages running arount with a red book and a trident or a sword as offhand.. now my question is:
WICH IS BETTER???
then i do atm 2 vit 3 focus bcz i saw while the loading screen the tipp.. my skills are fire lure max fire bolt and cloack i hope i can make 4 skills at max later.. But wich should i use then?

its called masters grimoire
buy from lvl 50 lux shop in the otherworld

and dont get the 500k gold

buy plat items like elix and idols and sell to other players
youll get much more money this way

No offense but your acctual build will suck as you're higher. I'd use the skills I listed youll have a rule dps with them

ok this is what I would do (it is different from other players but not worse):

With the plat, buy some sigils of energy (300 or more) and hp if you have probs to regen (not more than 100). If you haven't spent it all, you can buy chests and open them (only if you think you are in a lucky day but i would lol) or sell them. Keep gold for when you are lvl 50 for grimoire or armor. maybe lixs if you want, but shouldn't use before 80

ENERGY REGEN LUX is NOT useful for mage, unless you get lvl 150 (with talismans 40 tick etc). Heroic ammy will not help you regen energy at all. 20 energy is junk compared to the energy cost of most of our skills.


Get fire mage, max bolt, firestorm and fire attune asap. lure of fire lvl 15

Classical mages are great. Those that you see in movies and myths are great. The mages in this game are not great.

I strongly advise you pick another class or at least examine some of the posts about how mages work and the amount of plat you're going to need if you actually want to enjoy a mage.
