ill be talkin about my lv 32 mage Frostmancer and want suggestions for how i can continue my build to get to lv 80
statistics:
str 5 (6)
dex 5 (6)
foc 115 (116)
vit 50 (51)

gear: full silk armor xept gloves, zeuks gloves, stave of storms.

jewelry: greater torc of protection ( <3), grand ring of ice blast, greater ring of ice blast, signet of lir, declans ring (i never mention blessing of belinus cause its a given)

(my clannies at shogun shade got me the greater ring of ice blast, and a friend gave my the grand for free, thx aznboi/aznboy/ i forgot ur rouges name.)

skillz:
bandages: 1/15
recup: 1/15
energy boost: 7/15
energy shield: 5/15
lure of ice: 1/10
ice blast: 9/15 (16/15)(486 dmg max :p)
ice shards: 10/15
frostbite: 5/15

im planning on getting ice attune in the oh so distant future

one thing u should always always have as an elemental mage

if ur an ice mage

ice shards - maxed
ice blast - maxed
ice attune - maxed (boosts both iceblast's and iceshards' dmg by a lot)
ice lure - half of ur current max lvl (if 15, do 7-8, even 5 is fine, the highest lvl u should go to is 25 imo, half of the cap)
rest in the skills u need, u will have lots of extra pts since lure isnt maxed, u will be able to max even another skills pretty early, if u want both e shield and e boost, split pts (or add more in boost,ice mage is costly), and just add pts however u think

ur name and ur choice of skills suggest ice build obviously.

Well first, DON'T use frostbite it's broken, with low dps, and most important of all, DoT (you'll see why)


For your stats
str 5
dex 5
foc rest of pts
vit enough to survive

For your skills

Max Ice attunement
half max lure
enough pts in freeze for it to work
rest of pts in shards/blast, or eboost/sacri for energy issues, or eshield for survivability issues

If you max attune, half max lure, and have some decent pts in shard/blast, you would be 1-2 hitting mobs ur lvl.
As you progress, maintain maxed Ice attune, half maxed lure (half of max skill pts possible), enough pts in freeze, and rest of pts up to you

If you are lucky enough to get some decent energy sigils than energy won't be an issue, and you can spare some pts into ur shards/blast.

So the tactic for u would be: Freeze, lure, blast, and if not dead shards (mob should be dead)

Have fun killing everything in 1 hit XD.

maxing ice shards over ice attune will be better, then iceattune blast, altough a mage should have all the 4 main dps skills of his element, he'll waste more from losing that much dps

Well by maxing ice attune you would be adding dmg to BOTH shard and blast so overall it would add more.

as long as ur using just one of them, u will have lower dps
ice attune is great, if both skills are being used, i prefer ice shards maxed over ice attune any day, and the rest of pts would go to attune or blast (again, using all those 3 with ice lure will be the best)

If you have ice shards maxed, a good amount of focus, and enough pts in ice lure, you can one hit 1* mobs and almost one hit 2*'s ur lvl.

thx to amazing ppl, i have attained ice attune! i got a book of alt as well to respec. now i have 15/15 attune, 15/15 ice blast, 12/15 ice shards, 5/15 shield, and a 5/15 boost.

keep using ice lure, even at lvl 1
whenever u can, put it in ur build with half of the current max skill pts (if max is 20/20, make it 10/20)
