Hey guys! I am a newb, level 25 fire Mage and don't know much about Celtic. I was wondering where I can get better armor because I have the beginning quest line armor and that's it. I have the coin but nothing to buy! Thanks guys!

I would wait until at least level 30 before buying any additional armor for mage. That said, if you like a focus boost duskshadow is a great option- you can get the quest(s) to do it in lirs reach in between the temple and graveyard. In shalemont you can buy ancient linen armor. There is also a selection of mage armor in the castle as well.

I actually never used warden, choosing instead to stick with the (free) dark and duskshadow and even a few pieces of spirit shadow, until I got my met gear, which I then froze (ten levels below it can be done now). The shadow quests are a great (and free) alternative for casters. Oh, and did I mention, they're FREE!

Save your cash for a heroic ammy.

The lower tier armour (darkshadow I believe) begins with the group of people between the temple and the graveyard.

Get the embossed chain armor from the highshore shop, I worn it until I got warden.

You can replace your embossed chain helm with helm of the wanderer (the one you get from the chess quest) if you are not a lazy guy like me.

Pros: good armor (for a mage)
Cons: the weight...
