Which is a better/easier mage setup? Fire or Ice?

Fire is easier set up but I love ice builds!! With the right gear they are amazing.

A full fire DPS build is better for boss fights over long term. Ice is better for PvP, leveling and locking bosses.

both are good, i would guess that fire is easier to make and more like a 'stable' build, it has less dmg but better speed which i prefer, if u miss with firebolt once for example u will lose decent amount of dmg (according to lvl) but the cooldown will cover for it, if u miss with ice shards it'll be much harder
also ice blast's energy cost doesnt seem to be easy to handle, u could also just use ice build and firebolt as an extra (lure at lvl 1) which i suggest, i believe its the best mage's dps skill and it helps a lot due it's fast cooldown, a skill to cover in case u miss with ice, also low energy cost, and the dmg is great while the cooldown is like 6 secs (or 8, still not much)
