Hello, I am Lines!

I have a level 82 Ice Mage, but he burns a sh*t load of energy and doesn't have good health. I am going to create an alt so I can duel device, what should I create?

First Idea: Warrior due to it's tanking powers (Health=Very High, Damage=Moderate, Spell Damage=Low, Spell Distance=Low, Normal Distance=Low, Healing=Low).
Second Idea: Druids due to it's healing powers and a very good immobilizing spell(Health=?, Damage=Low, Spell Damage=Moderately High, Spell Distance=Moderate, Normal Distance=Low, Healing=Very High)
Third Idea: Ranger because it has a good part-immobilizing spell and can attack long distance.(Health=?, Damage=High, Spell Damage=Moderate, Spell Distance=Very High, Normal Distance=Very High, Healing=High)


I bolded all traits I might need with my mage.

I would say a druid:
U go fulldmg on ur mage and u max buffs on druid like embrace, bark, (wind if u use dex) , abu and touch

Druid, and give ur mage sacrifice.
Sacrifice is instant high energy regen, with 6 secs cooldown i think, it does take health, but thats why u have ur druid, even my lvl 3 sacrifice (frost gloves) help a lot, and u will save on e.shield with ur druid, and as u dont have to stop healing or letting sigils kick in, u can constantly attack mobs.

Ranger is also great, it gives a decent~high quick heal, and if its same lvl as ur mage, it'll deal dmg too, so 2 dps classes, with a heal, both ranged (and u have bolas), and its much easier to dual log ranger whos almost full auto (i would say that max light heal and bolas up to the lvl u need for support, double shot to the lvl u need, max sharpen/steady, and extra pts in steady/sharpen depends on what u chose, extras from double + bolas + lvling will give a lot)

Warrior - No, im a warrior and i dont like warrior partners, i dont like dual warriors since we usually cast one's shatter on another's, same with rupture, so its annoying, and i dont lvl with the lower lvl warriors as they dont go full dps, and if i lvl my rogue with a warrior, or any other of my alts, i would like a full dps one.
And its also annoying to dual mage and warrior imo, quite different playstyle, without heal theres no point for warrior to tank, and also i hate tanks for lvling.


Ranger/Druid, ur best choice.

Druid rooting ability is also great for mages.
