What's the best class to dual with? Why? With which build?

Depends, for uncostly lvling i would prob prefer ranger or druid, a healer class that can heal the mage when he uses sacrifice for both toons, ranger would be more dps but druid better support.

Theres also rogue with lure of assassins and matched elemental gear to mage's element, much more dps.
A warrior i wouldnt do with a mage.

Rangers and druids dual log are easiest IMO, rogues and warriors (or more mages) have to also focus on mobs and spam skills, a druid will follow u (if support) and ranger can be half support and auto build, which makes it really easy to handle.

It depends on u as well, i can barely handle 2 devices, on the other hand as u know Scorch he logs 5 at the same time.

Mages and rogues are a great and unstoppable combo if you have the proper gear and enough restos.

Don't forget that a druid with roots is invaluable to a mage, just as bolas from a ranger is a great tool as well. If the mob dies before it gets to you, it doesn't do a lot of damage, even to a glass cannon.

A good tank also works. They take the hits while the mages stands back and blasts away.

True. Just be sure they have serious taunt and/or war cry because a blasting mage is going to produce a LOT of aggro.

I prefer mage and druid. My firemage uses magic lure and sacri for energy issues while my druid takes care of heals and dps (a bit worse than mage dps but still good for a druid).

I've always wanted to try dual logging two mages at a time. While the energy costs would still be a pain to deal with, it would be fun to double nuke a mob.
