Mage's soloing potential vs. bosses

A few months ago, My friend UncausedRuby2 did something ridiculous that made me think about mage's true soloing power.
At level 86, his fire mage, TheBonecaller, soloed Shimmerspell. A level 70 ****** white wisp.
He just decided to do this for laughs and see how minute damage he could do. To his surprise, he defeated it after 15 minutes. This dawned on me again after seeing some of the freeze articles, and how it was only good for mobbing and supporting in some boss fights. What if we combined the build TheBonecaller had AND freeze? The potential of mages soloing bosses could go off the charts!
Build for Soloing
Focus/Vitality Ratio: 3/1, no points in Dex or Str. The higher focus ratio is to increase the durability of your energy shield and overall damage, and the vitality is there so you have something to fall back on in case, somehow, your shield is broken.
Energy Shield: Max. Soloing bosses will take time with this, so the Energy shield must be a very high priority to stay alive throughout the fight.
Energy Boost: Max, and get rings for it if you need to. If you run out of energy, you're hopeless in these types of fights.
Freeze: Enough to freeze mobs that you want to farm/solo. Freeze will be used to give pauses during the fight to reduce the damage you take and help you deal with any ads that have chosen to interrupt the ridiculousness you are pulling off.
Attunement of your choice: As many points as possible. Attunement is better than leveling up normal abilities because it means you spend less energy casting your damage spells while still having good damage. The long cooldown doesn't matter because you don't plan on dying with this build.
Lure to fit your attunement: 1/2 max, just to help deal more damage w/o leveling up your main damage abilities.
Put any leftover points you may have into your normal damage spells, assuming you still have any leftover when you got here with your skill points.
Please post images of you pulling off amazing feats w/ this build that almost no other standard build out there can accomplish.
Please note that TheBonecaller did not have ANY luxury at the time, not even an offhand, but his build helped him farm bosses and get a grimoire.
