Ok, so I'm a level 161 mage and I found it hard enough to get here without plat. My goal is endgame, but I don't buy plat and don't intend to. Is it possible to get there without plat? I have 30 XP elixers right now and the best that is going to do for me is get me 3 levels. Give me your opinions. Thank you in advance.

I never used plat and I'm 190, and I haven't just survived, I thrived. Here's a few things you can do:

Be a merchant to aquire gold to lv up/buy gear

Throw energy shield and energy boost in your build(never needed hp or energy lixes, or restos with these, just xps)

Be smart with your gold(don't buy gear you'll throw out in a few lvs), and be tactical with your build, using what you have to be the best you can be.

the new endgame is tower and i havent seen u level in there u got to carrowmore which was pretty easy in tower i can use a armour defense hp energy and xp and i still have 4* kill me a 6K bolt takes 3% of a 4* hp and there skill hits 2.5K alone not including there very very butched up close but you are right u dont need plat but your not end game anymore sooooooooooooooooo also the whole merching thing doesnt work anymore not enough people playing anymore to merch or its like this on lugh

Leveling to end game is fairly easy, I just don't feel like leveling again. If your dieing too quick you can throw on a good bear helm, it reduces damage by a lot. But being a merchant will always work, unless no one else exists. There is always someone who needs to buy or sell something.

Lmafo a bear helm in tower even with edl it's hard all the mobs have different damages there mages with magic fire warrior like class which does slashing crushing depending on which weapons they use (they change) and then u also have the eyes which I don't know there dmg inless u have a few bear helms to take on a off gl with that but I'll rather my edl aura

People underestimate the power of a bear helmet often... But I always carry around a set of them, because they are extremely useful, all you have to do is take notice of the weapon the enemy is using. Remember, 1 armor is really 1 pierce slash and crush resistance. So a bear helmet with 500 pierce resistance is like having 500 armor to bows and daggers, on a helmet! I would only recommend 400+ resist helms though. But when I use a 500 resist one it reduces my damage taken by a little over 50%. Also you should not use a full edl set to level. Edl hinders damage, and the boosts it gives does not cancel that out.

Yeah, I know. I use items gained from plat but I do not buy it.
