Hi everyone. Some questions about ice mage.

1. What skills should I upgrade at the beginning of the game? I have 10/10 Ice Shards and
thats basically it. That leaves me with 18 unused skill points...

2. According to one of the guides here, two of the main Ice mage skills, Ice Attunement and
Ice Blast can be dropped by mobs in Carrowmore Tunnels (are for lvl 90?) and Fingal’s Cave (area for lvl 70?)
respectively. Does this mean that until then everything I'll be using for exping is Ice lure, shards and maybe fire bolt?

3. How do I respec in this game?

1. Skills are debateable, personally I tried lvling ice mage without items from main and I really didnt enjoy it, it requires long survivability (as if u miss ur kinda screwed) and still to handle energy regens.... So I really dont know.
2. U can buy the skills from ppl, or maybe even get from free. Try asking it through a platform different than the game (such as Groupie) and be polite.
3. U have Book of Alteration which is 10 plat in plat store or 4k gold from ppl, and it resets all ur skills pts, and Book of Rebirth which is 20 plat in plat store or 8k gold from ppl, and resets all ur stat points.

For a new player with no lux playing an ice mage, you will need to put some points into e boost. Its great free energy regen. A maxed shards will one hit most 1-2* your level, put some points into shield just incase of an evade. Try to get ice attune and ice blast asap, theyre a common drop and wont cost much. They only drop in fingals and carrow but the manuals are tradeable. Join a nice clan and someone will give it to you for free, probabaly.

When you have ice blast and attune, reskill so u max attune first, then shards, then blast; prioritise in that order. Attune boosts the damage of both shards and blast at no extra energy cost. Points in e boost and shield as you need them.
