fire vs ice mord

Can someone tell me which dmg is better and if it's significantly high enough on damage difference to switch from one than the other at this boss.

A year ago we did a lot of number/dps analysis on Necro and Mordris, however at that time, we still freeze High Priestess on respawn and typically our ice mages have that responsibility so we don't have a lot of data.
However, we did have a husband and wife team who plays a fire mage and ice mage and they aren't on freeze duty, and the fire mage consistently outdamages the ice mage. But it could easily be attributed to gear, like I said, we didn't have many ice mages that are primary Mordris dps to compare with which makes our findings somewhat inconclusive.

I think elemental resistances are equal on mord

Fire is better dps on mord, Aggy, hrun, necro, proteus and probably gelebron

To revisit this thread: proteus, 200 edl, mordris, and almost certainly hrung and necro have equal amounts of fire and ice resist. On hrung and necro I haven't tested enough to be 100% sure. Necro seems to have the highest elemental resists of any boss in game. Your fire is resisted to about 18% with a 1520 lure (so if you have a 10k firebolt the highest possible dmg roll would be around 1800). On mord you can hit up to 22% ish, and hrung 44%. 215 6* is about 24% for fire, haven't tested ice. Of course, those values will all be a bit lower if you're using your own lure on a normal dps build
