Wondering how often mages are getting prot kills on other servers. I personally only have 18+ kills so far (3+ on prime 15+ on base, with largest streak being 3 in a row)

Sad but that might be the reason :/ My 4th kill was cuz full mage group locked
Hopefully can see you back sometime in the future. Many have quit recently, game looking bleak for me as well atm. Maybe thats just finals staring me down though, not sure yet

Ive gotten one Prot Base kill so far, but that was because all our well geared rangers were not present. If they are, I stand no chance.

any other mages have more than 15? just curious

I had a few when we first started Proteus but as those nice bracers started rolling in the rangers have been getting every kill. So many variables depending on how groups are set up and what the mage role is (lures or straight dps). If a ranger doesn't get the kill raise your eyebrow and ask them if they spent the entire fight on auto making a sammich

In my case i joined an eg clan a was after gele and prot rolled in so rangers already had them sexy braces, but my recent kill surge from 10-16 has been because rangers stopped hasting for prot base.

Not sure how it is on other worlds and just curious as to what set ups other mages r using to achieve prot kills.

Never because rangers who know their class should always get the kill.
