Hello again good readers! Thank you all for the love for Pikels Huge Magic Sack! It makes me want to come back and tell you all more. Sorry for the delay, been off having adventures myself. I believe I was telling you about what happened when Pikel went to speak with Firin to find out more about his strange predicament.....
Pikel ateps off of his magic carpet and approaches Firin warily, ready to guard against an attack. "Pikel!" Says Firin "good to see you old friend, what brings you to these parts?". "How did you know it was me?" Says Pikel. "I specialize in scrying magic my friend, such a simple illusion cannot fool me, though i must say, the smell is quite convincing". "Yeah, sorry about that" says Pikel, "i am here cause Rhoda and Can said you might be able to help me out..". Firin notices Pikels hand in his pocket, scratching vigorously. "If you need something for that you should talk to Guthrie the Herbalist, he makes a salve that will clear that right up..." Firin says. "No, no, its not what you think" says Pikel, its just my Huge Sack". he pulls the sack from his pocket and holds it out to Firin. "Holy Crap Pikel! That thing is HUGE!" Says Firin as he steps forward to examine it closer. "It seems to be ancient, and from what I can tell, it is quite magical." Says Firin. "I am no expert on magical items though, you might want to take that to Deschan the Sage, she can probably tell you more about it".
"Actually, that is not what I came here about" Pikel says. "I seem to have bigger problems at the moment" says Pikel. "What are you talking about Pikel?" Says Firin. "Well, i am not really sure, i seem to be in Stonevale, but all i see is the Otherworld. Well, another, different Otherworld". "Wow, that is strange indeed" says Firin, "let me cast a scrying spell and see what it tells me".
Firin wags his fingers and says a quick incantation. "Whoa! Holy crap Pikel, it is true, you appear to be here in Stonevale, but your soul has traveled to another dimension!". "What!? Another dimension? What are you talking about Firin?". "Well, just like there are alternate worlds that exist, there are also many planes of existence. They run paralell to our world, they are there but we cannot see, hear, smell, or touch them. In fact, no one has ever crossed over and lived to return or tell about it. How did this happen, you must tell me everything!".
"We'll, i am not really sure myself, i tried to teleport to the Tower in the Otherworld and something went wrong" Pikel says. "Something must have interfered with the teleportation magic" says Firin. "Did you have this Huge Sack on you when you tried to teleport to to the Otherworld?" Asks Firin. "Yeah, I did. It sorta itched so i scratched it as I was enacting the teleport spell." Says Pikel. "Then thats it! Thats your problem! The magic in your Huge Sack must have interfered with your teleport spell!". "Yeah, I guess that is possible" says Pikel. "The question now, is what do I do about it? How do I get back to our world?"
"I am afraid I am not sure Pikel" says Firin. "You really should take the Sack to Deschan, she has extensive knowledge about magical artifacts and perhaps can tell you more about your Huge Sack and find a way home for you". "Thank you Firin, I will do that" says Pikel as he gets back on his carpet, "appreciate the info, I will see you around". Pikel leaves to find Deschan...
Alas dear reader, duty calls and i must stop here. Yes, yes, I know, you want to hear more. Well, continue to show your love for Pikels Huge Magical Sack and i will return shortly to continue our tale. Here is a pic of Pikel headed to talk to Deschan...
