The second one, to be serious, where do we go after we die? If that mystery was solved, those 131 pages of the discussion about religion thread would all be done.
There is an answer to that. The reason there is 131 pages is because there is monkey believing atheist who think we evolved from bacteria lol.
Take a breath before you type, Spirit... your sentence implies that you don't believe monkeys exist...
I know what you meant, though. Regardless, it is quite untrue, and rather insulting to most people on the planet, as you've just called every religious person who understands evolution an atheist. Ironically, the only groups of people that you didn't insult were the religious right... and atheists.
In reality, the understanding and acceptance of evolution has little to do with the belief in God and the afterlife, nor with religion in general. If you do a little research you will find that most religions take no issue with the fact of evolution, and place it in a framework of God setting it all in motion. It is often certain sects of those religions that choose to ignore evolution.
But I digress. In order to bring this post back in line with the question at hand, I will offer the mystery I want solved:
I would like to know the full story of the "300 million yen robbery" in Japan. I doubt many people will know of it, but it is an intriguingly brilliant heist of simplicity. Adjusting for inflation and exchange rates (the theft happened in 1968), that is a little over $10 million USD today!!! All in a matter of minutes.
45 years and counting.
