As some of you may heard, the new update incorporates a fashionable appearence to your character, in which you may wear clothing over your armour to look good while you bloody up your vestments.
What would you guys like to see in terms of fashion?
Should it go beyond Celtic fashion? Afterall, just how fashionable were people in this era? I personally think its one of the few escapes from the Celtic realm, and its open to any suggestions in which people might dress their character uniquely. What do you guys think would make for good fashion?
Re: Fashion
#2If anyone reads Bleach, i like that outfit Ichigo had in chapter 420 when he was fighting the last boss Aizen.
Might look nice for rogues.

Re: Fashion
#4Not sure if this fashion thing will make the game just a bit too silly? putting a pink tank top and a sky blue mini skirt on a warrior, surely that sends the wrong message to dreadroot and he'd just kill you quicker (if that's possible) or maybe a new tactic, instead of tank, make a warrior stand up, make the bosses laugh themselves to death and hand over their goodies....
I reckon a simply re-coluring of armour would be good enough.. maybe i'm just being boring???
Sorry to those who i have offended who like pink tank tops and a sky blue mini skirts....

Re: Fashion
#5Hey, good point. However, lets be honest. Fashion doesn't sell well unless it comes across as "cool" or for girls "beautiful" (can I use that word without being critisized?) and a lot of people like a sexy appeal for fashion. Ok, it is just a game, but thats what fashion is... designing your player to look more appealing, in one way or another. I don't think fashion will be successful if it doesn't have SOME FORM of "cool" "awesome" "beautiful" or "sexy" because people don't want something thats brown, dull, and boring. Not sure if this fashion thing will make the game just a bit too silly? putting a pink tank top and a sky blue mini skirt on a warrior, surely that sends the wrong message to dreadroot and he'd just kill you quicker (if that's possible) or maybe a new tactic, instead of tank, make a warrior stand up, make the bosses laugh themselves to death and hand over their goodies....

That being said, it may not have to be a sky blue mini skirt, but its got to be something out of the ordinary.

Re: Fashion
#6I think it still needs to be in era middle ages. and BC.
but it could be possible to have armor from other groups besides celts. Think of romans, egyptians.
And maybe a free option to color your gear.

every piece of armor can have three different colors. Would be kind of fun if something like this could be made.

Re: Fashion
#9how about adding capes? Or tabards or both? You can make them customizable with logos and colours and/or each clan can have theyr own, they look cool and sexy and since theyr customizable they work for both genders, you can also add ribbons, tiaras, hoods, masks, badges, crests, flags, banners and you could link them to pvp as pvp rewards for achieving a certainn number of kills or wins or whatever that way players can show off their achievements in a fashionable way.

Re: Fashion
#10I think a great PvP reward for x amount of kills would be the ability to purchase certain fashion items, instead of PvP armour (would be easier rather then balancing the PvP armour in testing).
However, I'm becoming more convinced that there won't be fashion clothes starting out. Perhaps it will just be certain things you can wear over your armour that already in the game. (Darkflame, perhaps the queen's leaf skirt, etc.) Someone suggested this the other day in beta, and it sounds plausible. I would definitely rather see new designed fashionable items, but I guess we'll just have to wait and pray for the best.
