Re: Question about outer space

Here is my view on the matter... Live life man. No need to worry about something that really doesn't matter. Am I correct does it really matter? Instead of worrying about the boundaries of space wasting billions of dollars on useless info with expensive telescopes. Why not put it towards curing Cancers or if you are so interested in space inhabiting the moon if we had a nuclear war. So much more useful things scientists could focus on. Yet it is our curiosity of the Cosmos that betrays us. In the end how does this benefit us? How does this advance the human race..
LOL, wrong. Our population is exceeding 7b, we need a new earth or our population will starve. You think global warming is an issue? Our world sucks. We need new planets, or we can not expand, in the process destroying the entire human race.

500,000 people die a year due to cancer.
7,000,000,000 people will die due to overpopulation.
Oh okay so where is this space rocket that can get us to these new planets in under 1000 lifetimes hmm? We have all we need on this Earth it was what started us. Watch through the wormhole it might teach you some more thoughtful information rather than this discussion now. If one person in this world is starving tonight.. Why is this even a subject of discussion. Lets put our resources into figuring a way to feed this ever so expanding population. To control it. And to stop thinking this is Star Wars where we can travel a galaxy in one hour

Sorry, I was looking at the USA. But still, 8m isn't a lot if you think about it. 7 people are born a second, 2 die. 5+ people per second. 8m die, 157,680,000 born a year. Overpopulation is a way more pressing issue.

Dude, I am not expecting that it will take an hour, but if we send humans to colonize other planets with as many, if not more resources, and much less pollution. We *** this planet up way too much. I say we ditch this place, and try another one. And the rocket will have to be able to hold millions in order to properly colonize a planet.

Perhaps habitation another planet is closer than what you think: http://www.digitaljournal.com/article/325858

Colonisation on Mars seems to be a future goal of mankind within the next decade.

By the way Lines, if you want to add something else you can always edit your first post instead of posting twice in a row :)
Whoops, my bad. I also agree. They offer space flights to the atmosphere for just 25k-100k, which is the hardest to get to. After the atmosphere, the only fuel needed is the equal push to stop crashes, and to get back to Earth.

Man you dumb, we will all die in about 200 years if we dont get to a new planet, and long distance space travel is possible if we go close to the speed of light, because time then slows down. Problem with that is it is bloody hard to get up to that speed.
