I say we close trading with Africa, besically leave Africa on its own.
Is this sarcasm?
Without Africa we would lose countries that give us oil and without oil well..
We could finally invest in non-fossil feul power!
That said, i still think we should look after Africa and try to develope a cure.

P.s. Plague inc. Is a horrible morale booster...

Wrong, it is in my opinion the responsibility of the entire world to look after each other.
While I agree with you pigman I think one can make the even more self centered argument that by helping africa out in this case we are minimizing the deaths of Americans (or Europeans if you live there) by stopping the outbreak before it becomes world wide.

Sadly that is probably a more motivating argument.

Also, by closing off Africa, we are leaving the African countries to fend off the virus by themselves. American aid for Ebola, to me, is more geared for monetary value, but also to try and keep the disease out of the US. Near Sierra Leone, Liberia, etc. Lies numerous countries whose resources are extremely valuable (cacao, diamonds, other precious resources that are mostly found in Africa or grown). If this spreads to these countries, then getting these resources will be harder because the workers are all dying. If there's no workers, prices for these goods are going to skyrocket like crazy.
