I admit that for first time MUD players The game will be a wee bit confusing. Here are some tips for anyone who may be interested.
1) Aardwolf is text based, meaning its all words. In order to do things you have to type in commands.
For example, let's say I wanted to talk to my friend Bob. I would type in "tell bob hi" (doesn't have to be hi. It can be whatever you want to say). Another example, let's say I wanted to put 100 gold in a bank. I would type, " deposit 100 ".
2) if your new to MUD I advise you to go to the Academy. It will explain how to move, attack, cast skills and spells, and everything else you need to know.
3) make a list of the commands they teach you. ( I didn't make a list, so now I forgot most of the commands haha )
4) don't get upset. MUD are for serious gamers, if you don't get it, don't get upset... just find another game to play, like Celtic heroes for example
5) have fun! Aardwolf has extensive details involved throughout the whole game. It has flawless descriptions and friendly players, all to help you enjoy your gaming experience.
