I jailbroke mine, It's really easy to do. You can get apps for free which is great.

BUT

there is a chance of every app you have being deleted (Even backed up somehow) I did everything the instrustions said and everything was deleted.
It's a risk you're willing to take

I also have the screen recorder, it's pretty good lol.
