Gun laws only keep guns away from the honest. The US tried gun control once. Many sheriffs in the west required guns to be checked in when entering town. What this did was disarm the population so when the crooks rode in to rob the bank nobody could fight back. Disarming the population is the first step a would be dictator takes before seizing control.

You want safer streets? Make it easier for law abiding sane people to carry. I've earned my right to carry.

Papi, addiction is different. Yes people who are very addicted to hard drugs will do violent things to get their fix, but while high violence just doesn't happen, that part of your brain is disabled

Well I live in Australia here and I can't say that carrying a gun over here is such an essential. I mean I don't know any of my mates that have a gun. I know we can get a gun license to go hunting with but I'am pretty sure if you aim it at another Human Being theres a nice $1000 fine on your head. Australia seems to be fine with robberies and such without guns, I mean people may still own them but most Aussies put their life with the Police.

I trust that if there was a problem Police will be all over it, but just in case of something major I do have a Bow and an Arrows not to far away I may trust the police but not 100%.
