So basically it's Baywatch with Togas ?

I thought it was a decent show. It actually follows the entire story of Spartacus (what we know) pretty well, but it does take some artistic license with the facts adding in color, adding in a couple big events, and rearranging the timeline to make the story flow better.

I admit, Season 2 was hard to get through, and they had to replace the actor that played Spartacus in season 3 because the original one died in real life.
It's not a show you should watch with your grandma, or small kids. If you like the movie 300, you will probably like Spartacus
