Not to nit pick but the bullet is useless without the weapon, what if there is a bayonet attached. People are sill the killer the weapon is just a tool. The issue is the people. Not he gun. You cant prevent crazy.

No you can't prevent crazy but you can make it harder on crazy to do crazy things . Statistics have proven beyond a reasonable doubt that less guns = less murders .

I am very sorry, but you are going off of your definition of assault weapon not its literal definition. An assault rifle is used to assault an enemy and lay down suppressing fire to maneuver into position.
