Not to be an "atheist ***" but that is one of the funniest things I've ever read. Don't ever put "factual evidence" and "God" in the same argument, because you will just get shut down completely. I like how you added that you won't be posting anymore; it's almost like you've experienced this before and are already expecting to get barraged by actual facts. You are definitely right about not being perfect - isn't it forbidden to eat bacon/sea food, or work on the Sabbath according to the Bible? Just to clarify I have no unfounded belief or "faith" as it is called. Reality is anythng but an opinion. I will change my views based on any evidence or demonstratable experiment whereas most religious people will never change for these reasons.

I never said I am a "better person" in fact if you scroll up I have said despite criminal records showing atheists are the least likely of any religious affiliation it does not make you better.

However not disbelieving in reality makes you more intellectually honest.

My biggest grudge is how people think reality is an opinion. As if airplanes, guns, and the Internet are all just giant coincidences that if you look at the evidence for them differently will all just dissapear and everyone will realize it was just a mistake. Reality is anything but an opinion. Even young children can see this if they haven't been brainwashed.

I agree with you mostly. Schools now a days aren't really religious schools, and its your choice to send them to that certain school. Christian schools actually usually provide better education than public schools.

On the reality part. Reality is anything we think, see, feel or do. I have told you this before, but anything we dream or think is happening, in our little brain cells. I can create a giant bazooka right now, except only I can see it. If you want evidence for this alternate reality we create in our brains, I got 7 billion 200 million people lining up right here right now.

Perhaps I wasn't clear. In the united states of America 1/6 public schools - not private religious schools - teaches religion as science. If you live in the bible belt area there is no choice either you do not send your children to public school or they are forcefully indoctrinated and forced to submit to religious propaganda.

In a country that supposedly separates church and state a single public school violating federal laws in this manner is unacceptable. In fact tens of thousands of schools practice this.

And yes we covered this. If you imagine something there are chemical and electrical reasons for it in your brain. That does not mean it is representative of reality. If I believe I can fly all it means is I have 5 seconds to live after jumping from that building.

While it is not possible to have a view of reality that is perfect the further out of sync with reality it is the worse off you are. Past a certain point you cannot even get the results you intend because your thinking is so far off from reality.

The solution is to continually refine your thoughts to be as close to reality as possible. Disbelieving in reality may feel good but it is actually causing you and those around you needless harm and suffering.

Well when people resort to steadfast belief in myth before facts then those views are pretty much defined as ignorant, stupid, and gullible. They are dictionary definitions really not even an opinion.
