I would befriend him,gain his trust,kill him in his sleep and get all his goodies

make it play ch, give all its gold and stuff to me, and then kill him. usually, they have more advanced technology so the odds of me surviving long enough to negotiate and then befriend him is almost down to 0

Ask him if he played CH and befriend him, perhaps invite him to my Clan.

I'd take him to our leader.
