Re: Question for Athiests

#21
I am not being smart. The person trying to be smart is the person who asked the question. He thinks that atheist find it hard to answer this question, in hope to try and prove religion right, to make him feel safer. The question is not hard at all however. It is simple.
People learnt from the conuqences of their actions and began to distinghish what is right and what is wrong. Through evolution we have came to be what we are mow. If history was replayed it may be different, but this his how it came to be
So, for example, in some Asian beliefs, when a husband dies his wife will commit suicide and die with her husband. Do you personally believe that this is morally right? It is perfectly fine for the people that practice it.

It must be a pretty depressing thought that when you die your soul gets destroyed, only (on average) 70-90 years of life?

Its so funny reading peoples comments about how they proved athesits wrong. Its funny coz u didnt, if u have no proof or evidence of how it "really happened" then u have kow right to say it is wrong.

And if human evolution didnt create morality, then what did? God? How did god know?

Remember that god is not in a physical form, the human bran is, but in some peoples head it seems as tho it is in the same form as god is.........

Different cultures have different morals. This is the way these seperate cultures evolved and learnt what they think is right and wrong. To some these morals may seem weird, that is beacuse they have been brought up that way, the way that that particular culture believes is right.

Wait I thought God didnt exist?

And if we discovered it with logic and using the human brain, why cant we disprove it with logic and using the human brain?

My whole point is to show that there are flaws with atheist thinking. I am showing you these flaws but if you choose to not believe them, then I cannot help you anymore and will be done trying to explain to you.

And going back to your response about the different morals in different regions. You are saying that morality is relative to the specific person that believes it and has discovered it using logic. You say it is morally right that each person chooses his own morals. Besides avoiding the question, you havent answer where morality comes from. You have explained where humans discovered it. But have not explained where it was made.

If morality is relative, which you have already admitted to, then what makes this statement absolute? In other words, if something is true to only some people, what makes the fact that it is true to some people true to all people?

I never said god did exist mate, read next time

wtf is it with u and thinking everything is only discovered???? We athesist arent ruled by an imaginary being mate, we are free with our own opinions. Morality was created by humans. it was no already there waiting to be discovered lol. No one made it then gave humans the task to find it. Us humans constructed our own morals. we didnt need anone to tell us what to do

Flaws in atheistism? Every single religion has major flaws, and when someone askes them with one of the many questions that they cannot answer, they come up with some *** excuse and change the subject. They are brainwashed and cannot think for them selves, they apperently controled.

we constructed morality by examining human behaviour, looking at what kills us and what helps us.

Just like every other creature around us, evolution has changed us, to adapt to our enviornment.

Do you believe that the holocaust was morally right? You just said that "we are free to have our own opinions." Hitler's opinion was that any non-Arian person was inferior and did not deserve to live. Based on what you just said Hitler was ok in killing millions of other humans because he has his own opinion.

Never said every ones opinion is right.
Hitler was hatEd by many because of what he did.
See? Evidence that we have successfully built a sense of morality of what is right and wat is rong!

Some people seem to believe that they are superior to others, I belive God is one of those people as I hate to think that not everyone has equal rights. no one forces people to live like a toy of theirs.

If two people come up with two contradictory moral beliefs by using logic and learning from personal experiences, then which one is right?
