government shouldnt be so involved in heslthcare, that they make a heslthcare that pretty much gets rid of the old heslthcare plans, switching it for obamacare.
AND IF the governmrnt is so invloved in healthcare that they made their own healthcare system, they should make anyone who signed the bill or whatever actually use it, because around 70% of the people who signed the bill FOR obamacare, do not use it.

I dont think thats true at all. Being capitalist with businesses and socialist with people is the best mix and works very well. Universal healthcare when provided correctly works. So does universal education, in the UK university is free and they manage to maintain some of the most prestigious schools in the world.

Only in Scotland are university's free. You have to pay elsewhere. And Scotlands education system is different from the rest of the UK's too. We're complicated over here xD

The American government was not supposed to be run as a dictatorship or have the government too involved in the peoples affairs. When it was like that, America was the most powerful country in the world. Now, as we lean more towards being socialized, we probably are not the most powerful, and if we are, it is only because of our nukes and some of our technology.

@solum not talking dictatorship. I believe it is the responsibility of the govt to take care of the people. That it is on society to make sure all people have education, healthcare, and equal opportunity.

Kind of off on a tangeant but i believe big corporations need to be made more responsible and taxed more. Small independant business should be taxed less in order to encourage growth within a coubtry to avoid reliance on other countries

Also, in my experience people are against universal healthcare if they are wealthy enough to afford it or have never been in the position of needing healthcare you cannot afford. In my opinion it is the responsibility of society to take care of those who cant afford or are unable to care for themselves
