I like that idea.
However, if both you and the other person have it on, they could kill you and turn it off.
People could do this just to annoy others.

To fix that though. How about, once you kill someone, you can't turn it off for 1 hour?
Outside the arena of course.

There would need to be an indicator though, so that you know who you can and cannot attack. Maybe it would be something as simple as the action button changes from the magnifying glass to the standard attack icon. Yesteryear is right though, if it went that route there would definitely need to be a timer to prevent abuse. Combine that with making leystones (spawn spots) into non-pvp areas so that you couldn't be kept in pvp mode endlessly by other players. Might work, however I think having a pvp world is much more exciting and dangerous. On the other hand, the on/off idea could help resolve disputes quickly.

The reason I say no to having a selectable PvP status is the basic fact that, when you join a PvP world, you should already be aware of the fact that you can, and will be destroyed by another player from time to time.
If you don't like that risk, why did you join the PvP world in the first place?

I am the kind of person that don't usually like to PvP but, will if I have to.
I would rather just quest with the clan and, help them gain items.

This morning i logged in at the website, and I saw a lot of screen shots from new weapons.... Most 2 handed and it said they require a lot of strength but do a lot of damage....

But.... now I can't find them any more on the website????

Totally agree, how about pvp worlds AND non-pvp worlds with a pvp toggle?

Wouldn't that defeat the purpose of having an arena?

I think the purpose of the different worlds is that, other than the arena, the PvP worlds would be open PvP anywhere.
The Non PvP worlds would only have arena PvP. Not fully open.
Not sure on this though. What do you think on the idea?
