In Holland there isn't much difference between people who are gay and the people who are not. We respect each other and as far as I know things are going well.
So USA here is a message to you. "There is nothing to be afraid of, let those people live their life. Let them live the American Dream or something if it still exists."

I think you misunderstood. I didnt want it to sound like a religious institution had the right to dictate marriage. I am never against the LGBT...go for it i would say! The only thing that bothers me is the vulgar performances they all gladly show off in broad daylight; especially during the gay pride parade. I mean, c'mon, we get you are different from theose straight people..but why show it off in every corner? I like the big-picture of the whole idea, however, i can only see it as a need-for-attention propaganda.

In my opinion, human procreation was obviously meant to be between a man and a woman. However, people have the right to choose their own company. Your thoughts, emotions, and feelings can not be controlled as you have a right to your own mind.

Marriage is commonly defined as between a man and a woman but we're also in a new era with new concepts and ideas. People have to learn to leave some things in the past so we can make progress.

I would continue writing but it would involve a discussion about religion which, as mentioned previously, may offend people. In fact, I may have already offended people somehow and I apologize. I'm just a tired person who came across the off topic section of a game forum out if boredom.

God did not create marriage. Marriage exists universally, in many religions and cultures.

Government does not "dictate". It regulates. There are advantages to marrying, regulated by government, and because someone's genes makes them a homosexual, are they not be allowed to have these same advantages?

Incest leads to genetically defective children. Do gays and lesbians have defective children? No, incest is wrong because it leads to deformities, mental disease, short life spans, and damage to the gene pool. Preventing incest prevents children suffering from all sorts of problems. Preventing LGBT marriages does nothing.

Yes, only a man and a woman can procreate. But the Earth is already over populated, and population growth is still huge. What does it matter if some couples can't have children in this day and age?
