As for your camel arguement(wasnt exactly easy to read as it kept glitching on my mobile device. Was so annoying), in the small amount of time I spent reading it, I noticed 2 things(now correct me if I am wrong in that they used these two ways[in a nice way]):1. They used carbon dating which is not accurate and 2. They used the geographical layers(you know like the Cambrian layer and stuff like that) which are not correct either. For instance, I believe that human fossils have been found with dinosaur fossils. Well if humans lived long after dinosaurs....

Yes if you choose to disbelieve in carbon dating, geology, biology, Arechology, etc I can see how you disbelieve this too.

Too bad your disbelief dosent affect reality.

And for ignorant people Cough*Plus3*Cough:

Ephesians 4:18

They are darkened in their understanding and separated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them due to the hardening of their hearts.
You are so ironic. The person who choses to disbelieve facts because thier heart is hardened. All that is required to change my opinion is evidence. Actual scientific evidence for which there is none to date thus my stance on the issue.

I thank god he dosent exist every day. The world is so much better off without him.

Yes your honestly not getting it proves my point nicely.

And yes what I think about evolution, the big bang, etc does not mean I'm right true. Its the mountains of facts supporting it with zero facts refuting it and the repeatable experimentation that supplies the evidence. That makes it true no matter who tries to disbelieve.

And since you don't accept/understand/believe cosmology, geology, biology, arechology, DNA evidence, evolution etc then that also proves my point nicely.

Thanks for showing me I'm right for at least one data point. :D
Actually, your proving my point.
Your blinded in ignorance.
You say we are stupid for believing in God, well I say your stupid for believing we are chimps.

They are all theories because they are all plausible, but not 100% sure that it happened. key word "THEORIES".
The bible is also seen as a theory because there are other theories that may be true too(Not that I doubt the bible. These theories are arguable )

So don't shout victory because a few things seem to be slightly possible. We have never seen something close to be the same as the big bang all these few hundred years, so your theory isn't fact. We also haven't seen a chimp turn into a human, so your theory isn't a fact.
The fact you can't follow a simple logical argument and are religious adds at least one datapoint to my total lol thanks so much I don't need more proof. Lololol.

I can only wish evolution was 'my theory' but it's not it's darwins along with others that have built on it. And the fact you think chimps turn into humans, after all the posts you couldn't probably read, in the face of all the facts out there is priceless. Thanks again.

You can keep going if you insist I find it amusing.

You believe in experiments that most of them fail 60% of the time... I think that's enough to prove science isn't always correct, and that big bang, evolutions, and other theories are just plausible, not 100% possible( Get what I mean? I mean it has a 0.001% chance to happen)

Ever heard about sarcasm?
You believe a primate that we have, again, ZERO proof of ever existing, goes ahead, and turns into a human.

Also, the drawings look a lot like chimps, so what I said was not totally wrong.

@solumbum
dersu proved carbon dating in the first thread,

@royal
the only evidence for the bible is the bible, it makes no logical sense to prove an idea with that idea

it always makes me laugh that all religions think they are the right one, and all of them "prove" their faith with scripture
christianity, in the grand scheme of religion is fairly young

also, food for thought- the oldest surviving branch of humans, a tribe in africa who all people are related to
(PROVED through tracing errors in the dna of the mitochondria of your x chromosome) have no religion, in fact they dont even have the concept of god. and they have been around the longest

i think lots of people misunderstand the term theory
theory means there is so much proof, that it is as near fact as it gets, the details can change but it is damn near fact

evolution happens, people are still evolving. to claim that evolution is a farce is idiotic
new earth creationists are insane to believe that the earth is younger than we can PROVE it is

These recent arguments against evolution seem to head towards:
Image
I am not sure what people want. There are just so many things to look at and measure. Evolution and the Big Bang are not solely logical claims but actual empirical theories.

Some people seem to try and find fault in the many pieces of evidence that constitute evolution and the Big Bang at which point one could prove it correct or accept a possible mistake. There is, however, one solid point that can be made in even the mind of a child:

"At least we have something."

It is really getting old to see people misunderstand scientific theories and make jokes that only show their lack of knowledge regarding the subject of evolution or the Big Bang. I will repeat for probably the hundredth time: prove your belief.

Not rubbish to disprove evolution or the Big Bang and do not dare use scripture. You must prove the validity of the bible or whatever scripture you believe in. Prove that there exists a pattern throughout the writing. Prove that there is a solid key to discerning metaphor from literal fact. Prove that religion is not just a way for people to escape their fears.
