All life - dogs, cats, trees (even bananas), fungus, bacteria, viruses, fish, birds - everything has a common ancestor.
In the same manner the fact that all living things share DNA suggests that everything could've been made by the hand of a single creator.

Also not saying this justifies anything, but ken ham is a museum curator who hadn't debated publicly with someone since the 90's

What about RNA then? It is like DNA, but instead Of deoxyribonuclease its ribonuclease, (sorry for poor spelling) which supports evolution, as it shows that variation came about of its own.

RoyalNinja, are you thinking at all before replying? You are becoming absolutely out of control with these replies that are basically only placeholders for more replies. Ancenstry.com is a site that will give you information regarding your ancestors farther back than 500 years. That is simply one site. If you do not have the time to reply (since you say you are a teenager I assume you have homework) there is no reason to reply. This thread will most likely be here for years maybe even months to come. I do not mean to hurt your feelings, but doing things such as bashing religions is something I've learned is not good.

Also, I hope everyone remembers that Christian is not synonymous with follower of Christ. Christian is merely a title that sadly anyone can use.

Miracles do happen since you've forgotten that Jesus is still alive in Heaven.
Yes, you can find out various things about your ancestors, but it doesnt show everything. These ancestors could have had slaves, and you wouldnt know. Do you know what your ancestors did in (random date) May 9th, 1545? Im pretty darn sure you dont.

About bashing other religions, Im just pointing out that catholics did all these horrible things.

And about miracles still happening... Im talking about pastors curring eye site, walking on water, turning 1 fish into a hundred, etc. This doesnt happen, and Jesus doesnt do these things now days.

People like Benny Hinn say they can do these miracles. He, and others are apostate and will be judged.
If you mean miracles like not getting into a car accident, even though it was nearly impossible to evade, then yes, thats a miracle too, but atheists call it luck.

@Plus3: Just because the baptist group came after catholics it doesnt mean every christian was catholic. As I said, christians were before catholics, and other groups of "christians"

Yes that's true if you deny ALL evidence of how DNA actually works, preserved DNA that is tens of thousands to millions of years old, ice cores, all radioactive dating, all geology, all arechology, all cosmology - in fact just about every fact there is then yes.

Lmao. Ken believes in the loch news monster. He has cavemen riding dinosaurs like cowboys. His crackpot theories even mainstream creationists don't believe. Look it up it's all publically available.

Ok just to clarify, just because one small part of the bible is right doesnt mean the whole thing is. There was once a man named Walter white who dealt drugs, does that make the entirety of breaking bad a 100% true story? No it doesn't, the bible can have every fact it wants right, but if it doesn't have creationism evidence, then it is wrong p
You might add that just about every claim that can be shown false has been shown false.

Why in genesis alone 99% Of the verifiable information is easily shown false.
Without using evolution? No? Thats what I thought.

The point with the flood tablet is that almost every major religion has some record of a worldwide flood. So maybe its true?
You do not need evolution to show that fossils appear in layers up to billions of years old. Aliens could have dropped off each new species and evolution not happen and it would still be evidence of exactly when stuff lived.

Also arechology - there are cultures older than your myths of world creation.

Also cosmology there is just overwhelming evidence supporting modern science that also disproves all of genesis.

The flood in the bible is very easy to show false using just geology. Why the bible itself can't agree on if it rained or the waters of the earth welled up lol.

It's priceless you religious people are arguing about what mythology is real and can't agree. I love it thanks.

And yes I can know what my ancestors did. For example most of them lived in Europe where slavery died out before 1000 AD. They were not rich and had mundane jobs and housing. So I am 99.9999999% certain they did not own slaves because they did not leave the country (back then it took years and was obscenely expensive and highly risky) and come to America nor were they merchants. In fact in 16-17th centuries it became illegal to own them where most of my ancestors lived. Thus I can be certain beyond any reasonable doubt they did not own slaves.

But simple logic escapes you so often why not go on and try some crazy on for size?

This article has legitimate arguments on Creation vs Evolution:
http://www.remnantofgod.org/creation.htm
Lol, so much rubbish in one place. The first part is ridiculous "But how can that be? How can the rocks date the layers, if the layers date the rocks? That's what's called 'circular reasoning.'" Um, no. It is not that simple and this one uneducated person failed to consider radiocarbon dating as well as how we measure over the course of a long period of time to establish a pattern.

That is not all but I am sorry, I just had to stop after I read "Could it be this is why Satan inspired Darwin with evolution?".

Faith in humanity starting to go down the drain again...
