Mortality rate is 50percent or so,
so let's play a game everyone's on the honor system, pick heads or tails-- flip a coin and post if you live or die
*edit*
Safe, and now immune.

Ebola outbreak within the same year of Isis rising in power... Maybe it was weaponized in the first place to prove a point...
Im very sure of it
Also they have no vaccines for ebola and I wouldn't never try vaccines since I would get more sick... Just do it the natural way by building you immunity system by eating healthy fruits and vitamins
Fruit is natures candy being not much more than sugar water. Diet is highly unlikely to make a difference. The absolute worst things for humans is 'nature' id give you about 10 days to live in a tropical rainforest with no technology.

You can chose to disbelieve in vaccines but that dosent remove the fact they have eradicated disease to the point ignorant people can be proud of thier disbelief in them instead of crippled, disfigured or outright killed. It also dosent change the fact ignorant people who deny that vaccines work are then more likely to act as a carrier transmitting diseases to those least able to help themselves like young children, the elderly, and those with compromised immune systems. If they could think rationally they may even put together that's morally similar to murdering innocents.

Dont forget everyone can make a mistake and release a none working vaccine that just causes more sickness, if its not done properly you got a really big problem. Id say stay away from vaccines untill they really are proven to work. Human trials has to start somewhere...

If you are talking about some of the prototype ebola medications / vaccines then yes that can be a valid concern. People with a 50-90% mortality rate will often willingly play guinnea pig and honestly if they are informed and the situation merits then they should have that right along with other high risk individuals.

Now if anyone starts talking about how existing vaccines cause autism and every other affliction humans suffer from, do more harm than good, and we shouldn't use them until we 'know' they work then clearly they have reality acceptance issues, are beneath contempt, and should be shown a the same respect as admitted child molesters who show no remorse and say they would like to do it again just for fun.

I think we need a little spiel on how vaccines work.

When we get infected, our bodies mount an immune response to the foreign body (pathogen). Some pathogens, like the flu virus, can be removed by our immune system relatively easily in healthy individuals. However, some can't, and Ebola seems to be one of them. In the same way, HIV and Polio are also two pathogens that the body will not be able to remove and would ultimately lead to death.

Now, that's why we vaccinate. We are never given the pathogen with its full strength. The most dangerous vaccine would be the weakened version of the pathogen which does carry some risk, but it's rare for it to cause any symptoms. The other types of vaccine are all parts of the pathogen or a completely destroyed pathogen that won't be able to infect us. Our body then fights the substance in the vaccine with a NATURAL response: we build up a pool of memory cells and antibodies to be able to fight the infection naturally, with a quicker and stronger immune response than the first time.

Yes, Ebola cures would need testing because of risks, but if you're destined for death anyway, would you say no to an experimental drug? :)

When I saw the titanic exhibit when it was on display at the local museum everyone could draw a apple of a real person on the ship. Others with me drew prestigious people in first class while I drew a dirt poor immigrant in sterage. I died. I was likely told everything would be fine as the doors slammed shut with the clattering of locks being clicked into place as the distant roar of rushing water ominously foreshadowed my fate.

With my luck I'd rather not play out the whole 'do you die of infection game'.

Vaccines may or may not cause all those things, we have no proof, although they have almost eradicated deseases like the Black Death, so i'm all for it!

On a little side note, did anyone else try recreating Ebola in Plague Inc.? Just me? Ok.

I couldn't agree more on this.
