I personally have quite a few... there’s just too many good characters! So here’s mine in no particular order:

The Hobbit

Sam (books and movies)
Gandalf (books and movies)
Legolas (books and movies) I mean just look at that shampoo
Tauriel (movies)
Fili and Kili (books and movies)

The Lord of the Rings

Gandalf (books and movies)
Legolas (books and movies)
Aragon (books and movies)
Eowyn (books and movies)
Faramir (books and movies but I like him more in books)
Gimli (books and movies)

Not really into the Lord of the ring movies that much but I remember when I watched them I thought aragon was cool. Think it was his hair I liked about him lol, long hair on guys looks cool

Gandalf first and foremost cause Gandalf, Elrond was always cool, Legolas had swag, Galadriel was more interesting in the books, but still cool in the movies, and I really like Saruman cause really good bad guys are what make a movie motivated.

Dang it, now I really wanna rewatch all of those lol.

I agree about Galadriel. But unfortunately that’s just how books vs movies work. There’s so much information in the books that they have to find a way to make it fit in the movies.

Very interesting choice. Not many people choose Dumbledore considering Tolkien hardly ever mentions him.
