I think it's definitely going to be announced on the 12th, with a possible release date of the 21st? The invitation Apple sent out to various journalists had a big '5' as a shadow, so it does seem to suggest this will definitely be an iPhone 5 announcement.

I'm really interested to see Apple's Map app, now that they've parted ways with Google Maps. From the demonstration given at the iOS 6 announcement a few months back it looks fantastic, but we'll have to wait and see.

Also Siri is now being brought to iPads (3rd gen only), but to be honest I don't know how much I'll be using it

Sucks that I only got an iPhone 4 and I can't airplay or anything. My mum has an iPad 2 but I don't want to use it for screen recording.

Siri is a jerk. One time i went "I love you Siri" and she went "Thats nice, can we get back to work now?" And she doesn't know what some things mean!

Siri sometimes has trouble understanding my friend's Scottish accent, however when I ask the exact same thing Siri knows exactly what I mean.

Perhaps Siri just likes me more than my friend...

Yeah I can't wait to see how much better Maps is supposed to be...the iPhone 5 does look appealing, maybe its time to buy one when it comes out of course
