Lux?

I wasnt sure what to put for a title, but heres what Im considering.
I want to get back in the game, but I know Ill need lux. I have some from Farcrag, which is great for my alts, but Id like something decent for my main.
Ive got tons of fashion that I can sell, along with other event items.
My question is, do I sell it? Since I still want some of the fashion, I was thinking of keeping just a set or two on one of the characters. Or do I sell it all? Or, do I farm for gold? Please help.
