Baseball hardest sport?

I for one think baseball is the hardest sport, any disagreements and reason y for the disagreement? This is my reasoning :

The skill needed to hit a fastball is challenging. An MLB fastball takes about 0.4 seconds to reach home plate. In comparison, it takes 0.15 seconds for a human to blink in response to visual signals. However, instead of blinking, the batter must swing the bat in less than 0.3 seconds and meet the 2.87 length ball with an at most 2.75 inch barrel bat at precisely the right spot and even then a hit is not guaranteed. Also, if you get a hit 3 out of 10 at bats throughout your career you will be considered a Hall-of-Famer. This means that baseball hitters fail more than half the time and are still considered a very good player which proves how hard it is to hit an MLB fastball. Additionally, there aren’t just fastballs; there are curves, knucklers, change-ups, cutters, sliders, screw balls, slurves, and more that will get you off balance. Hitting is the hardest thing to do in all sports.

Imo Yes, but once you've practiced and played the sport and are experienced at it a fastball is the easiest ball to hit. For me at least. A fastball straight down the middle is a risky move on the pitchers behalf. Cash in with a home run easily if you read the ball right as a fastball down the middle, which happens alot.

Sailing ofcourse. You are exposed to the elements. It's both physically and mentally challenging. U need have a strategy for every race, analyse the location of the event ( Normal event takes two days, about 6-8 races total, 3-4 races each day. Race takes 1 hour ish.) The race takes one hour, an hour where u won't have a single break and need to stay focussed till the end.

So physically it is challenging. You will need to have strong arms, legs, back, and core. But while doing the things within your boat you still need to create time to look outside your boat and focus on wind gusts, other competitors(what moves they will make), and the course.

Sailing? lol, requires no skills except the skill to row the boat. Baseball is all mental along with some physical. If you fail 7 out of 10 times would you be pissed? Well baseball players have to have the quality to overcome your mistakes and face more challenges. If failing 70% of the time doesnt get you down or pissed then idk what does

honestly comparing sports is apples and oranges. every sport requires a different skillset and areas of strength and pro players have to put in the same work no matter which sport it is.

true, but you can compare some components of the sports. For example playing chess is more challenging for your mind then physical. And running a marathon is less challenging for your mind, but is all about managing your energy right and keep pushing yourself till the end. So that would be physically more challenging then mentally

Pushing yourself is more mental than physical.

Baseball is different fr other sports. If your physically tough you can be good at american football but if you want to play baseball you need to develop skill u can't just start playing and be amazing at it. I agree +1
